How should I store Zepbound vials at home or while traveling?
Short answer
Store Zepbound single-dose vials in the refrigerator at 36°F to 46°F, in their original carton to protect them from light. Do not freeze them. The label allows room-temperature storage up to 86°F for up to 21 days. Follow your supplied label and ask your pharmacist about any temperature concerns.
Keep Zepbound single-dose vials refrigerated at 36°F to 46°F. Leave them in the original carton to protect them from light. Do not freeze the medication or use a vial that has been frozen. Keep it away from children and pets, and check the expiration date before use.
The single-dose vial label allows storage at room temperature, no higher than 86°F, for up to 21 days. If you store a vial at room temperature, do not return it to the refrigerator. Write down the date it was removed and discard it after 21 days, even if medication remains. Follow the label supplied with your exact product.
For travel, keep the vials away from direct sun, hot cars, and direct contact with ice or frozen packs. Carry your prescription information and plan how to keep the medication within its allowed temperature range.
If a shipment arrives warm or you are unsure how a vial was stored, ask the dispensing pharmacist before using it. Appearance alone cannot confirm that medication is safe to use.
