Visits and fees · FAQ

What does the Verra Health visit fee cover?

Short answer

The visit fee covers a licensed physician's review of your online or video visit. It does not cover medication or guarantee a prescription. A physician licensed in your state decides if treatment is appropriate. The fee is non-refundable, with credit toward your first medication order within 30 days.

The visit fee covers the physician review that is part of your online or video visit. A licensed physician in your state reviews the information you provide and decides whether prescribing treatment is appropriate. Paying for a visit is not the same as buying a prescription.

The visit fee and medication charge are separate. Medication is charged only after a physician approves it. You can find the current medication price on the treatment page. Do not assume that paying the visit fee also pays for medication or shipping.

The visit fee is non-refundable, including when the physician does not approve medication. If you place your first medication order within 30 days, the paid visit fee is credited toward that order.

Online visits are included for members of Verra+. Video visits have a separate fee, including a member video visit fee. If you have questions about what a specific charge covers, ask Verra Health before paying. Keep visit charges and medication charges separate when reviewing your costs.
