Sleep · FAQ
How should I store the Home sleep test before and after use?
Short answer
Store the Home sleep test according to the device label, in its packaging until you are ready to use it. Keep it dry and away from children, pets, and conditions outside the listed storage limits. After testing, follow the data submission and disposal instructions before throwing away any parts.
The device label is the best guide for storage. Check it for temperature limits, moisture warnings, and any use-by date. Keep the kit in its packaging until you are ready to set it up. Store all parts together so that small sensors, instructions, or other needed items do not get lost.
Avoid leaving the kit in a hot car, a damp bathroom, or direct sunlight. Keep it out of reach of children and pets. Do not wash, soak, or clean the sensors with household products unless the manufacturer’s instructions specifically say to do so. Contact the care team if the package arrives wet, damaged, or missing parts.
After the test, follow the instructions for ending the recording and submitting the data. Disposable does not mean every part should go straight into household trash. Check for battery or electronic waste directions. Do not reuse the device or share it with another person. If you are unsure whether data submission is complete, ask before disposal.
