How long does the Auto-CPAP program take to show results?

Regular use, mask fit, and the right prescribed settings matter. Contact your physician if sleepiness continues, symptoms worsen, or you cannot use the device as directed.

The device supports breathing while it is being worn and running. Consistent use during prescribed sleep periods, a well-fitting mask, and the right pressure settings are important. Leaks, taking the mask off during sleep, or sleeping too few hours can make progress harder to assess.
Your physician may review your symptoms and data recorded by the machine. Feeling better alone does not prove that sleep apnea is fully controlled. Likewise, ongoing fatigue can have causes beyond sleep apnea and may need a separate review.
Contact your care team if you remain very sleepy, still have witnessed breathing pauses, or struggle to use the equipment. Do not increase pressure on your own. Avoid driving when sleepy, even if you have started treatment. Keep follow-up visits recommended by your physician.
