Visits and fees · FAQ

How do online and video visits differ under the visit fee policy?

Short answer

An online visit lets a physician review information you submit, while a video visit includes a live video appointment. The online fee is $99, and the video fee is $149. Some states or medications require video. Online visits are included for members; their video fee is $49.

For an online visit, you submit information for a physician to review without a live video appointment. A video visit includes a live appointment with the physician. Both involve review by a licensed physician in your state, who decides whether treatment is appropriate.

The online visit fee is $99. The video visit fee is $149. For members of Verra+, online visits are included, and the video visit fee is $49. Verra Health is available in all 50 states and DC, but some states or medications require video.

Paid visit fees are non-refundable. A paid visit fee is credited toward your first medication order if you place that order within 30 days. Neither visit type guarantees a prescription, and medication is charged only after physician approval.

If you start with an online visit and are told that video is needed, ask Verra Health to explain any added charge before paying. Do not assume that switching visit types carries no charge or that a second fee always applies.
