Can depression be evaluated through a Verra Health online visit?
Short answer
A Verra Health online or video visit lets a licensed physician in your state review your depression symptoms and decide whether treatment is appropriate. Some states or medications require video. Not every concern can be managed online, and a prescription is not guaranteed. Telehealth does not replace emergency care.
At Verra Health, a licensed physician in your state reviews your online or video visit and decides whether treatment is appropriate. Verra is available in all 50 states and DC. Some states or medications require a video visit. An evaluation does not guarantee a prescription, and some concerns need in-person or specialist care.
Be ready to describe your symptoms, how long they have lasted, and how they affect daily life. Share current medicines, supplements, past mental health treatment, and other health conditions. Tell the physician about any suicidal thoughts or past periods of unusually high energy with little need for sleep. These details matter when choosing a safe next step.
If medication is prescribed, ask how to take it, what side effects to watch for, and when to follow up. Medication is charged only after physician approval. Online visits are not emergency services. If you are in crisis, call or text 988, the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline. Call 911 if there is immediate danger.
