What should I do if I miss a scheduled NAD+ injection?
Short answer
Follow the missed-dose instructions on your NAD+ injection label, or ask your prescribing physician or pharmacist what to do. Do not double your dose or put injections closer together to catch up. Your next dose depends on your prescribed schedule and when you last injected.
If you miss a NAD+ injection, check your prescription label and the pharmacy’s written instructions first. If they do not explain missed doses, contact your prescribing physician or pharmacist before taking a catch-up dose. There is no single missed-dose rule that fits every compounded prescription.
Tell them when your last injection was, when the missed dose was due, and when your next dose is scheduled. Have your prescribed amount and the vial label ready. This helps them give instructions that match your treatment rather than a general schedule.
Do not double a dose, add an extra injection, or shorten the time between injections on your own. The typical schedule of 2–3 injections weekly is not a substitute for your personal directions. If you missed several doses, ask whether your plan needs review before restarting.
If you are unsure whether you already injected, do not repeat the dose without advice. A simple dose log or reminder may help you keep track of your prescribed schedule.
