Peptides & longevity · FAQ
Can NAD+ injection interact with my medicines or supplements?
Short answer
Interactions with NAD+ injection are not well studied, so do not assume it is safe with every medicine or supplement. Give your prescribing physician and pharmacist a complete list of what you take. Include other injections, peptides, vitamins, over-the-counter products, and any treatments marketed for energy or longevity.
There is limited research on how injected NAD+ interacts with prescription medicines, over-the-counter drugs, supplements, or other injected treatments. A lack of documented interactions does not prove a combination is safe. Your prescribing physician and pharmacist should review your full treatment list before you begin.
Include medicine names, doses, and how often you take them. Mention vitamins, herbs, other NAD-related products, peptides, and treatments from other clinics. Also share allergies, ongoing health conditions, and whether you are pregnant, planning pregnancy, or breastfeeding. These details can affect whether treatment is appropriate.
Do not stop a prescribed medicine just to start NAD+ injection. Do not add another injection or supplement without checking with your care team. If a new medicine is prescribed after you start NAD+, let both prescribers know about all your treatments.
Never mix NAD+ with another medication in the same syringe or vial unless your pharmacy provides explicit instructions for your prescription. A licensed physician in your state decides whether NAD+ injection is appropriate for you.
