How should I take enclomiphene, and what if I miss a dose?
Short answer
Take enclomiphene exactly as your prescription label and physician direct. There is no FDA-approved enclomiphene dosing schedule. Do not increase your dose or copy someone else's plan. If you miss a dose, ask your pharmacist for instructions specific to your prescription. Do not double doses unless your prescriber directs it.
Your enclomiphene dose and schedule must come from your prescriber. They depend on the product, your health history, and your lab results. There is no FDA-approved dosing schedule for enclomiphene. Online dosing advice may not fit your needs or the preparation you receive.
Read the pharmacy label before your first dose. Ask whether to take it with food and what to do if a dose is late or missed. If the directions are unclear or differ from what your physician told you, contact the pharmacy or prescriber before taking it. Do not take extra doses to make up for missed ones unless specifically instructed.
Store the medication as the pharmacy directs. Keep it away from children and pets, and do not use it past the pharmacy's beyond-use date. Never share your prescription with another person.
Do not raise, lower, or change the schedule on your own. Follow-up symptoms and labs guide those decisions. Enclomiphene is not FDA-approved. Compounded medications are prepared by a licensed pharmacy for one patient and are not FDA-approved.
