How should I store my Bupropion XL 150 mg tablets?
Short answer
Store Bupropion XL at room temperature, away from excess heat, moisture, and direct light, unless your pharmacy label says otherwise. Keep the container tightly closed and out of reach of children and pets. Do not store it in a damp bathroom or a hot car. Follow the labeled expiration date.
Keep Bupropion XL in its labeled container, tightly closed, at room temperature. Follow any specific storage directions from the dispensing pharmacy. Protect the tablets from excess heat, moisture, and direct light. Bathrooms and cars are often poor storage spots because temperature and humidity can change quickly.
Choose a secure place that children, pets, and other people cannot reach. A child-resistant cap is not childproof. Do not share your tablets with anyone, even if they have similar symptoms or take a medicine with a similar name.
Check the expiration date or any discard date on the label. If tablets become wet, damaged, or look different than expected, ask the pharmacist before using them. If your package was exposed to extreme temperatures during delivery, contact the dispensing pharmacy for advice rather than guessing whether it is safe.
Use a medicine take-back program to dispose of tablets you no longer need. Your pharmacist can help you find an option. Do not flush medicine unless its disposal instructions specifically tell you to do so.
