How do I use the Allergy Rx nasal spray and tablet?

Short answer

Follow your Allergy Rx pharmacy label for both the spray and tablet. For the spray, gently clear your nose, keep your head slightly forward, and aim away from the center wall of your nose. Confirm the tablet’s name and directions with your pharmacist before taking it.

Use each part of Allergy Rx exactly as your prescribing physician and pharmacy label direct. Before the first spray, read the instructions for shaking and priming the bottle. Priming means spraying into the air to get the pump ready. The steps can depend on the bottle, so do not assume every nasal spray works alike.

Gently blow your nose. Keep your head slightly forward and place the tip just inside one nostril. Aim toward the outer side of your nose, away from the center wall. Breathe in gently while spraying. Avoid a hard sniff, which can pull medicine into your throat. Repeat only as directed on your label.

Wipe the nozzle and replace the cap after use. Do not share your bottle or spray it into your eyes or mouth. The page does not identify the tablet ingredient. Ask the pharmacist how to take it, whether food matters, and whether it can be split or crushed. Do not guess these instructions.
