Can I stop the TRU-1 GLP-1 response test after ordering it?
Short answer
The TRU-1 GLP-1 response test does not require tapering because it is a one-time genetic test, not a medicine. If you no longer want testing, contact Verra before collecting or returning the sample. Ask about your order’s status and cancellation terms; stopping the test does not mean stopping prescribed treatment.
There is no medication course to stop with the TRU-1 GLP-1 response test. You do not need to taper it or manage a missed drug dose. If you have started swabbing and feel uncomfortable, stop collection and ask for advice before trying again. Follow the kit instructions if you decide to proceed.
If you change your mind about testing, contact Verra promptly. Whether an order can be canceled may depend on its status. The product details provided here do not establish cancellation, return, or refund terms for the kit. Do not assume that an order can be canceled after shipment or that lab processing can be stopped once the sample arrives.
The visit fee is non-refundable. It is credited toward a first medication order within 30 days; do not assume this credit applies to a test purchase. Choosing not to complete this test is separate from choosing to stop a medication. Keep taking prescribed treatment as directed unless your treating physician advises otherwise.
