Can I stop taking Glutathione injections without tapering?
Short answer
Ask your prescribing physician how to stop Glutathione rather than creating your own taper. The plan depends on why it was prescribed and your health history. If you have signs of a serious allergic reaction, do not take another dose; seek emergency care instead of waiting for routine advice.
Speak with your prescribing physician if you want to stop Glutathione injections. They can review why you started, any symptoms you have noticed, and whether you need follow-up care. Do not create a taper or stretch doses on your own. Follow the stopping plan your physician recommends.
If you are stopping because of side effects, describe what happened and when it started in relation to your injection. Trouble breathing, throat swelling, or fainting needs emergency care. Do not take another dose while waiting for advice about a suspected serious reaction.
There is no established promise that any perceived wellness change will continue after stopping. Results vary. New or returning symptoms should be assessed on their own rather than assumed to mean that you need to restart injections.
Ask the pharmacy how to dispose of unused medication and supplies safely. Stopping treatment is also separate from changing an order or plan. Contact Verra about any future orders so that your account choices match your treatment decision.
