Peptides & longevity · FAQ
Can Glutathione injections interact with my medicines or supplements?
Short answer
Glutathione may not be appropriate with every medicine or supplement, and interaction data for injections are limited. Give your prescribing physician and pharmacist a full list of everything you take. If you receive cancer treatment, ask your oncology team before using Glutathione or any other antioxidant product.
Ask your prescribing physician and pharmacist to review your medicines before starting Glutathione. Interaction data for compounded injections are limited. A lack of a listed interaction does not prove that a combination is safe.
Include prescription medicines, over-the-counter drugs, vitamins, herbs, supplements, and other injections. Share the doses and how often you use them. Also mention any planned surgery, ongoing treatment, and health conditions that may affect medication choices.
If you are receiving chemotherapy or radiation, speak with your oncology team before using Glutathione. Antioxidant products may affect some cancer treatments, and the advice depends on your exact treatment. Do not stop prescribed cancer medicines to start this product.
Do not mix Glutathione with another drug in the same syringe or vial unless your prescribing physician and pharmacist specifically approve it. Medicines that can be taken during the same treatment period are not always safe to mix physically. Have your medication list checked again whenever you start, stop, or change another medicine or supplement.
