Will my sleep care visit be online or by video?
Short answer
Verra offers online and video visits for sleep care, but the format depends on your state, the medication, and the care needed. Some states or medications require video. An online visit is reviewed by a licensed physician; it is not automatic approval. Dental assessment may require separate arrangements.
An online visit lets you submit health information for a physician to review. A video visit allows a live discussion. The format available for your sleep concern depends on state rules, the medication being considered, and whether the clinician needs more information. Some states or medications require a video visit.
A licensed physician in your state decides whether medical treatment is appropriate in either format. Completing an online form does not guarantee a prescription, test order, or device order. Oral appliance therapy requires review by a licensed dentist in your state, and dental care may require an in-person assessment or fitting.
Online visits cost $99, and video visits cost $149. The visit fee is non-refundable but is credited toward the first medication order within 30 days. Online visits are included for members. Before booking, confirm which format applies to your chosen sleep program and whether any additional appointments are needed. Have prior sleep study reports and a current medicine list ready.
