How should I apply Lash growth serum to my upper lash line?
Short answer
Apply Lash growth serum only as your prescribing physician and label direct, usually to the upper lash line at night. Wash your hands, remove makeup and contact lenses, and use the directed applicator. Blot away excess serum. Do not apply it to the lower lash line or share applicators.
Follow your prescribing physician's directions and the instructions on your label for every application. The usual routine starts with clean hands and a clean face. Remove makeup and contact lenses before applying the serum. Do not guess at the amount if the label does not make it clear.
Use the applicator specified by your pharmacy. Apply the prescribed amount along the skin at the base of the upper eyelashes, not inside the eye. Blot away any excess that spreads beyond the lash line. Avoid applying it to the lower lash line, since repeated contact with nearby skin can cause unwanted hair growth.
Keep the bottle tip from touching your fingers, eye, or other surfaces. Follow the pharmacy's directions for applicator use and disposal. Do not share serum or applicators with anyone else.
Wait at least 15 minutes before putting contact lenses back in, unless your label requires a longer wait. Ask your physician or pharmacist for help if you are unsure about any step.
