How does shipping work for the Medication response (PGx) test?
Short answer
The Medication response (PGx) test involves delivery of a cheek swab kit and mailing your sample back for processing. Check checkout and the kit instructions for shipping details and return steps. Verra is available in all 50 states and DC, but some states or medications require a video visit.
The Medication response (PGx) test is ordered after a licensed physician in your state reviews your visit and decides it is appropriate. Verra is available in all 50 states and DC. Some states or medications require a video visit. Check your order details for the delivery address and any shipping estimate provided for the kit.
Expedited shipping is $20. Ask whether this option is available for your test order and what part of shipping it covers. Faster outbound delivery does not necessarily speed up return shipping, lab processing, or report review. Do not assume a delivery date unless one is confirmed for your order.
Once the kit arrives, read the collection and return instructions before swabbing. Follow the supplied directions for packaging, labeling, and mailing your sample. Check whether return postage or a return label is included rather than assuming it is. If the kit is missing, damaged, or incomplete, contact Verra before collecting a sample. Ask for guidance if tracking shows a delivery problem or you cannot follow the return instructions.
