Sleep · FAQ
How do sleep medication refills and device supply replacements work?
Short answer
Sleep medication refills depend on your prescription and any required physician review. Device supplies and replacement parts are separate from medication refills. Check your treatment page and order terms for what is included, billing timing, and how to request more. A plan does not guarantee ongoing prescription approval.
A medication refill is not the same as a new supply order for a sleep device. If your Insomnia program includes medication, check the prescription label and order details for the authorized amount and any refills. Your physician may need updated health information or a follow-up visit before approving more medication.
For Auto-CPAP, ask how to order masks, filters, tubing, or other replacement parts and whether they are included in your program. For an oral appliance, contact the dental care team about repairs or replacement. Do not assume a medication plan covers equipment or dental services. A repeat home sleep test also requires a separate review of what is needed.
Medication plans are monthly, a 3-month plan with 15% off billed monthly, or a 6-month plan with 25% off billed monthly. Confirm any renewal terms before enrolling. Medication is charged only after physician approval. Contact the care team before you run out so there is time to clarify the next steps.
