How do online visits for menopause care work at Verra Health?
Short answer
At Verra Health, a licensed physician in your state reviews your online or video visit and decides whether menopause treatment is appropriate. Verra is available in all 50 states and DC. Some states or medications require video visits. Prescriptions are not guaranteed, and medication is charged only after physician approval.
You share your symptoms, period history, medical history, and current medicines through an online or video visit. A licensed physician in your state reviews that information and decides whether treatment is appropriate. Verra is available in all 50 states and DC, though some states or medications require a video visit.
An online visit costs $99, and a video visit costs $149. The visit fee is non-refundable. It is credited toward your first medication order placed within 30 days. Online visits are included for members. Paying for a visit does not guarantee a prescription.
The current medication price is shown on the treatment page. Medication is charged only after a physician approves it. When prescribed and ordered, medication is prepared or dispensed by a pharmacy and shipped to you. Some concerns require lab work or an in-person exam rather than telehealth alone.
Verra does not bill insurance. HSA/FSA cards may be usable for eligible expenses; check with your plan administrator. Before your visit, gather your medicine list and any relevant medical records so the physician can review your care needs.
