How do I switch from another hormone or peptide treatment to Sermorelin?

Short answer

Do not switch to Sermorelin or overlap it with another hormone or peptide treatment on your own. A licensed physician in your state must review your current treatment and decide whether a switch is appropriate. There is no simple dose conversion between this 9 mg vial and another product.

Switching to Sermorelin requires a review by a licensed physician in your state. Share the exact name of your current treatment, its concentration, your dose, and when you last used it. Include a photo of the label if available, along with the reason it was prescribed and any recent test results.

Sermorelin is not interchangeable with injected growth hormone or other peptide products. The 9 mg vial strength does not provide a dose conversion. Even syringe markings may represent different amounts when concentrations differ. Do not carry over your old injection volume to a new prescription.

Your physician will decide whether you should stop the current treatment, whether a gap is needed, and what follow-up is appropriate. Do not overlap treatments or use leftover supplies unless specifically instructed. If your current medicine treats a diagnosed hormone disorder, involve the clinician managing that condition.

Compounded medications are prepared by a licensed pharmacy for one patient and are not FDA-approved. Review the new label and injection instructions with the pharmacy before your first dose.
