Peptides & longevity · FAQ
Can Sermorelin interact with my medicines or other peptides?
Short answer
Sermorelin may interact with medicines that affect growth hormone or related hormone pathways. Give your physician a full list of prescriptions, over-the-counter drugs, vitamins, supplements, and peptides before starting. Do not combine it with growth hormone or other peptide treatments unless your prescribing physician has reviewed and approved the combination.
Have your prescribing physician and pharmacist review all your medicines before you start Sermorelin. Include prescriptions, over-the-counter drugs, supplements, hormones, and products bought online. Share the names, doses, and how often you use them. Do not assume that a supplement or peptide is safe to combine because it is sold without a prescription.
Sermorelin acts on the pathway that controls growth hormone release. Medicines that affect this pathway may change its effects. Be sure to mention growth hormone, other hormone treatments, and glucocorticoids such as prednisone. Do not stop a prescribed medicine on your own to make room for Sermorelin.
Interaction information for compounded peptide combinations may be limited. A lack of a listed interaction does not prove that a combination is safe. Your physician may advise against a combination or recommend monitoring based on your health history.
Check with your care team before starting any new medicine during treatment. Follow your prescription label, and report new symptoms after any medication change.
