How do I switch from another erection treatment to Dual-action chew?
Short answer
Switch to Dual-action chew only with guidance from your prescribing physician. Share the name, dose, and time of your last erection treatment, including daily tadalafil or injections. Do not overlap treatments or choose your own waiting period. A licensed physician in your state decides whether this combination is appropriate.
Before switching, tell your physician exactly what you currently use for erections. Include tablets, troches, injections, supplements, and any medicine taken daily. Provide the strength, usual schedule, time of your last dose, and any side effects. Mention sildenafil or tadalafil prescribed for pulmonary hypertension, too; do not change those treatments on your own.
Dual-action chew already contains both sildenafil 45 mg and tadalafil 6 mg. Adding it to another erection treatment may increase risks, including low blood pressure or a prolonged erection. Do not overlap treatments unless your physician gives explicit instructions. There is no single waiting period that is safe for everyone. Your current medicine, kidney and liver health, and other drugs all matter.
A licensed physician in your state will decide whether switching is appropriate and explain when to start. Follow that plan and your pharmacy label. Do not compare strengths across products to create your own dose. A new treatment may not provide the same response you had before. Results vary. Arrange follow-up if the treatment does not meet your needs.
