What side effects can Dual-action chew cause?
Short answer
Dual-action chew may cause headache, flushing, stuffy nose, indigestion, dizziness, back pain, or muscle aches. Its two ingredients can also lower blood pressure. Get urgent help for an erection lasting more than four hours, chest pain, fainting, or sudden vision or hearing changes. Tell your physician about bothersome side effects.
Dual-action chew contains sildenafil and tadalafil. Possible side effects include headache, flushing, stuffy nose, indigestion, dizziness, back pain, and muscle aches. Vision changes, such as a change in color perception, can also occur. Combining these two medicines may increase side effects, including low blood pressure. Do not assume the combination has the same safety profile as either medicine used alone.
Get emergency care for an erection lasting more than four hours, even if it is not painful. Stop using the medicine and seek urgent care for sudden loss or major changes in vision or hearing. Call 911 for chest pain, fainting, severe trouble breathing, or signs of a serious allergic reaction.
If chest pain occurs during sex, stop activity and seek emergency help. Tell emergency staff that you took sildenafil and tadalafil and when you took them. Do not take nitroglycerin or other nitrates yourself. Contact your prescribing physician about persistent or bothersome effects before taking another dose. Do not adjust the dose on your own.
