Can I stop using the Hormone panel after ordering it?

Short answer

The Hormone panel is a one-time test, so there is no medicine to taper or ongoing dose to stop. If you decide not to collect, tell your physician and contact support about your order. Skipping the test does not mean you should stop any prescribed hormone or other medicine.

You do not need to taper a lab test. The Hormone panel involves a sample collection rather than ongoing medication use. If you no longer want to complete it, let your physician know, especially if they ordered it to assess symptoms or monitor an existing treatment.

Your physician can explain whether delaying or skipping the test affects your care plan. They may suggest another testing method or an in-person evaluation. Continue prescribed medicines as directed unless the clinician managing them tells you otherwise. Choosing not to complete this panel is not a reason to stop testosterone, estrogen, birth control, or another medicine.

For cancellation, return, or refund questions, contact support. Do not assume an unused kit can be returned or that a sample already sent to the lab can be canceled. The visit fee is non-refundable. This product is a one-time purchase, not a refill plan, so repeat testing would be a separate decision with your physician.
