What side effects should I watch for with Daily Tadalafil?

Get urgent medical help for an erection lasting more than four hours, sudden vision or hearing loss, or chest pain. Do not take nitrates for chest pain after tadalafil.
Common side effects of Daily Tadalafil include headache, indigestion, flushing, nasal congestion, back pain, and muscle aches. Dizziness can also occur, especially if your blood pressure drops. Tell your prescribing physician if symptoms are bothersome or do not go away. Do not change your dose without guidance.
An erection lasting more than four hours is a medical emergency, even if it does not hurt. Get emergency care right away. Stop taking tadalafil and seek urgent medical help for sudden loss or a major decrease in vision or hearing. Call 911 for chest pain, fainting, trouble breathing, or signs of a severe allergic reaction.
If chest pain happens during sex, stop sexual activity and get emergency help. Do not take nitroglycerin or another nitrate after tadalafil. Tell emergency staff that you take tadalafil and when you last took it. This information matters because combining these medicines can cause a dangerous drop in blood pressure.
