Mental health · FAQ
What is included in a mental health visit, and is its fee refundable?
Short answer
A mental health visit lets a licensed physician in your state review your information and decide whether treatment is appropriate. The online fee is $99; the video fee is $149. The visit fee is non-refundable but is credited toward your first medication order within 30 days.
Your mental health visit is a medical review, not a promise of a prescription. You provide information about your symptoms, medical history, and current medications. A licensed physician in your state reviews the visit and decides whether the requested treatment is appropriate.
An online visit costs $99, and a video visit costs $149. The visit fee is not free and is non-refundable. It is credited toward your first medication order when that order is placed within 30 days. Medication is only charged after physician approval.
The physician may need more information before making a decision. Some states or medications require a video visit. Be accurate and complete when describing your health history, and be ready to provide the names of any medicines you already take.
Online visits are included for members of Verra+. Check the applicable visit terms before submitting your request. If you are unsure which visit type to choose, ask Verra before paying. Membership or payment does not change the physician's responsibility to decide whether care is appropriate.
