At-home labs · FAQ

Is a visit required for at-home labs, and what is the visit fee?

Short answer

Check the selected at-home lab’s page for its visit requirements. An online visit costs $99, and a video visit costs $149. The visit fee is non-refundable, but it is credited toward your first medication order within 30 days. Online visits are included for members.

Visit requirements can depend on the selected test and the care being requested. Check the treatment page before ordering an at-home lab. If it is not clear whether a visit is required or included in the test price, ask Verra to confirm. Do not assume that buying a kit also covers every related visit.

An online visit costs $99. A video visit costs $149. The visit fee is not free and is non-refundable. It is credited toward your first medication order within 30 days. This is a medication credit, not a promise that the fee will be applied to a lab purchase. Online visits are included for members.

A licensed physician in your state decides whether the requested care is appropriate. Paying for a visit does not guarantee a test order or prescription. Medication is only charged after a physician approves. Before paying, check which service you are purchasing and whether any later discussion of the report requires a separate visit.
