How should I take sermorelin and handle a missed dose?
Short answer
Use sermorelin only at the dose, schedule, and injection route on your prescription. Do not copy instructions from another person's vial because concentrations can differ. If you miss a dose, ask your pharmacist or physician what to do. Do not double a dose to make up for one.
Sermorelin is commonly prescribed as an injection under the skin. Your physician sets the dose and schedule, and the dispensing pharmacy provides instructions for your specific preparation. There is no single standard dose for anti-aging or wellness use. Do not change the dose or timing without medical advice.
Check the vial label and syringe instructions before every dose. Milligrams, micrograms, milliliters, and syringe units are not interchangeable. The number of syringe units depends on the medication's concentration and the syringe type. If any instruction is unclear, ask the pharmacist to explain it before injecting. Only mix the medication if your pharmacy has instructed you to do so.
For a missed dose, follow your written instructions or contact your pharmacist or physician. Do not double up or place doses closer together on your own. Use a new sterile needle and syringe each time. Never share supplies or medication. Place used needles in a proper sharps container, and ask your pharmacy about local disposal rules.
