How should I store my compounded NAD+ nasal spray?
Short answer
Store NAD+ nasal spray exactly as the dispensing pharmacy's label directs. Do not assume it needs refrigeration or that room temperature is suitable. Check the beyond-use date and keep it out of reach of children and pets. Ask the pharmacy about any heat exposure, freezing, or change in appearance before using it.
The dispensing pharmacy's label is the source for storage instructions. Storage needs can depend on the formula, container, and stability information for that preparation. Do not use storage advice for a different NAD+ product or another nasal spray.
Check whether your bottle requires refrigeration, protection from light, or other handling steps. Do not freeze it unless the pharmacy specifically instructs you to do so. Keep the bottle securely capped, and follow the directions for cleaning the nozzle. Store it where children and pets cannot reach it.
Compounded products carry a beyond-use date. Do not use the spray after that date, even if liquid remains. Ask whether opening or first using the bottle changes how long you may keep it. Write down the opening date if the pharmacy asks you to track it.
If the package arrives warm, frozen, leaking, or damaged, contact the pharmacy before use. Report unexpected cloudiness, particles, or color changes as well. Appearance alone cannot confirm that a product is safe or stable. Ask the pharmacy how to dispose of unused spray.
