Mental health · FAQ
How is my prescribed mental health medication shipped?
Short answer
If a physician approves medication, the dispensing pharmacy prepares the order for shipment to you. Medication is only charged after approval. Delivery timing depends on pharmacy processing and shipping. Review the shipping options for your order, and contact Verra if you need details about timing, tracking, or delivery.
Shipping follows the medical review and pharmacy process. A licensed physician in your state first decides whether treatment is appropriate. Medication is only charged after approval. The dispensing pharmacy then processes the prescription and prepares the medication for shipment to the address on your order.
Do not assume a delivery date based only on when you finish the visit. Physician review, pharmacy processing, and carrier transit are separate steps. Check the shipping information available for your order, and ask Verra if you need help understanding its status.
Review your delivery address carefully before ordering. If you need to change it, contact Verra promptly to ask whether the change can still be made. Do not assume an order can be redirected after the pharmacy has processed or shipped it.
When your package arrives, check that the label matches your name and prescription. Follow the pharmacy's storage directions. Contact the pharmacy about damage, missing items, or concerns about the medication's condition. Ask about refill timing before your current supply runs low rather than relying on a last-minute delivery.
