Mental health · FAQ
How do refills work for ongoing mental health treatment?
Short answer
Mental health refills depend on your prescription and the physician's ongoing review. A payment plan does not guarantee continued prescribing. Check your label for authorized refills and ask Verra what follow-up is needed before your supply runs low. Medication is only charged after physician approval.
A refill is tied to a valid prescription, not just an active payment plan. Your prescription label should show whether refills were authorized. A licensed physician in your state decides whether ongoing treatment is appropriate and whether another review is needed.
Ask Verra how refill requests work for your specific medication. Confirm whether you need to complete a follow-up, provide updated information, or take part in a video visit. Some states or medications require video. Do not assume that completing your first visit approves all future medication orders.
Plan ahead by checking your remaining supply and any refill instructions. Pharmacy processing and shipping take place after the required approvals. If your prescription has no refills left, contact Verra before you are close to running out.
Medication is only charged after physician approval. The current price is shown on the treatment page. Review the billing schedule separately from the prescription's refill schedule, since they serve different purposes. If you have questions about an upcoming charge or shipment, ask Verra to clarify before the order is processed.
