How do I use the GLP-1 microdosing plan each week?
Short answer
Use the GLP-1 microdosing plan only as your prescribing physician and pharmacy label direct. The listed schedule is weekly, but your exact dose and method depend on your prescription. Before your first dose, confirm the medication name, dose, supplies, and instructions with your prescriber or pharmacist.
Your prescription label and prescribing physician’s directions are your guide for using the GLP-1 microdosing plan. The plan lists a low weekly dose, but that does not provide enough detail to start treatment safely. Confirm the exact medication, amount, route, and scheduled day before your first dose.
If your medication is injected, ask your pharmacist to show you how to measure and give it. Use only the supplies recommended for your prescription. Wash your hands, use a new needle and syringe when required, and follow the instructions for choosing and changing injection sites. Never share injection supplies. Put used needles in a sharps container.
Do not assume instructions from another GLP-1 product apply to yours. Concentrations, devices, and dose amounts can differ. Check the label with every new shipment, especially if the package or concentration changes.
If the label conflicts with what you remember from your visit, pause and contact your prescriber or pharmacist. Do not guess, change your weekly schedule, or take an extra dose without guidance.
