How do I switch from another hair treatment to Hair Super Capsule?
Short answer
Ask your prescribing physician for a switch plan before starting Hair Super Capsule. Do not overlap it with another finasteride or minoxidil product unless directed. Share the name, strength, dose, and last use of your current treatment so your physician can decide whether a change is appropriate and how to proceed.
A licensed physician in your state should review your current treatment before you switch to Hair Super Capsule. Share the product name, ingredient list, strength, dosing schedule, and how long you have used it. Include scalp treatments, oral medicines, supplements, and any side effects you have had.
Hair Super Capsule combines finasteride 1 mg, minoxidil 2.5 mg, and biotin. Adding it to a product with the same ingredients may create an unintended extra dose. Oral and topical minoxidil are not interchangeable dose for dose. Oral minoxidil has different whole-body risks, including effects on blood pressure and fluid balance.
Your physician will decide whether any overlap or break is needed. Follow their instructions and the new pharmacy label. Do not follow a switch schedule from another person or use leftover medicine to adjust the plan.
A switch does not guarantee better hair growth or fewer side effects. Results vary. Ask when to check in after the change.
Compounded medications are prepared by a licensed pharmacy for one patient and are not FDA-approved.
