Can Hair Super Capsule interact with my medicines or lab tests?
Short answer
Yes. Hair Super Capsule may interact with medicines that lower blood pressure, and its biotin can affect some lab test results. Give your physician and pharmacist a complete list of medicines, vitamins, and supplements. Do not combine it with other finasteride or minoxidil products unless your physician directs you.
Before starting Hair Super Capsule, list all prescription medicines, over-the-counter products, vitamins, and supplements you use. Include other hair treatments, even those applied to the scalp. Your physician and pharmacist need this information to check for duplicate ingredients and interactions.
Minoxidil can lower blood pressure. Taking it with blood pressure medicines or other drugs that lower blood pressure may increase dizziness or fainting. Mention medicines for erectile dysfunction and alcohol use as well. Do not stop a prescribed medicine on your own to make room for this treatment.
Biotin can interfere with some lab tests, including certain thyroid and heart-related tests. Tell the clinician ordering tests and the lab that your capsule contains biotin. They can decide whether you need a pause before testing and for how long. Do not delay emergency care because you have taken biotin.
Finasteride can lower PSA levels, which are used in prostate screening. Tell the clinician reviewing your PSA results that you take finasteride.
