Can sermorelin interact with my medications or supplements?
Short answer
Sermorelin may affect or be affected by other treatments, so your physician needs a complete medication and supplement list. Be sure to mention diabetes medicines, steroids, growth hormone, and other peptides. Do not stop a prescribed medicine or combine hormone treatments without advice from your treating clinician.
Before using sermorelin, share all prescription medicines, over-the-counter products, vitamins, supplements, and peptides with your physician. Include injections and products bought online or used only occasionally. Interaction information for compounded sermorelin and many wellness peptide combinations is limited, so missing data should not be taken as proof of safety.
Medicines that affect growth hormone release, such as glucocorticoid steroids, may affect the treatment plan. Changes in growth hormone activity may also affect blood sugar control. If you use diabetes medicines, ask whether you need closer blood sugar checks. Do not adjust those medicines on your own.
Combining sermorelin with growth hormone or other hormone-stimulating products may add risks and make side effects harder to trace. A combination sold as a wellness protocol is not automatically well studied. Your physician and pharmacist should review the exact ingredients and doses before you use them together. Contact your care team when any medicine changes, including a short course prescribed by another clinician.
