Mental health · FAQ
Can I use insurance or an HSA/FSA card for mental health care?
Short answer
Verra does not bill insurance for mental health care. HSA or FSA cards may be usable for eligible expenses, but coverage rules depend on your plan. Check with your plan administrator before paying, and ask what documentation you need for a visit, prescription, or other charge.
Verra does not bill insurance. Review the visit fee and medication price as costs you will pay directly through the service. The current medication price is shown on the treatment page, and medication is only charged after a licensed physician approves treatment.
HSA or FSA cards may be usable for eligible expenses. Your plan administrator decides which expenses qualify under your plan's rules. A medical visit, prescription, membership, or other service may be treated differently, so ask about each type of charge rather than assuming all costs qualify.
Before paying, check whether you need an itemized receipt, prescription details, or other records. Keep the documents for your own records and any plan review. Acceptance of a payment card does not by itself prove that an expense is eligible.
If you want to ask your insurer about possible reimbursement, contact the insurer directly. Do not assume reimbursement is available. Verra's decision not to bill insurance is separate from any rules your insurer may have about claims you submit yourself.
