Can I use insurance benefits or an HSA/FSA card for Verra expenses?
Short answer
Verra does not bill insurance. HSA or FSA cards may be usable for eligible expenses, but coverage depends on your plan's rules. Check with your plan administrator before paying. A card payment going through does not, by itself, confirm that an expense qualifies under your plan.
Verra does not bill insurance. Plan for direct payment of any visit, membership, medication, or other selected service. If you want to know whether your insurer may reimburse an expense, ask your insurer directly. Do not assume that a Verra purchase will be covered or reimbursed.
HSA and FSA cards may be usable for eligible expenses. Eligibility depends on the expense and your plan's rules. Check with your plan administrator before paying, especially for memberships or charges that include more than one type of service.
Ask what documents your plan requires, such as a receipt or prescription information. Keep records of your payments. If a card transaction is accepted, that alone does not confirm that the expense meets your plan's requirements or will pass a later review.
You can ask Verra what receipts or payment records it can provide before making a purchase. Your plan administrator is the right source for questions about eligible expenses, reimbursement deadlines, and any steps needed to submit a claim.
