At-home labs · FAQ

Can I use an online visit instead of video for at-home labs?

Short answer

An online visit may be an option, but it is not available for every care situation. Some states or medications require a video visit. Check the requirements for your chosen at-home lab and any related treatment. The online visit fee is $99; the video visit fee is $149.

An online visit uses information you submit for physician review rather than a live video conversation. A video visit lets you speak with a clinician in real time. The format available for your at-home lab request depends on the service and applicable rules. Some states or medications require a video visit.

Do not assume that a genetic test and a blood panel have identical visit requirements. Review the selected treatment page, especially if you are also asking for medication. A licensed physician in your state decides whether care is appropriate. The physician may need more information before making that decision.

The online visit fee is $99, and the video visit fee is $149. The visit fee is non-refundable, but it is credited toward your first medication order within 30 days. Online visits are included for members. If you are unsure which format to choose, ask Verra before paying so you understand the required steps and whether another visit may be needed.
