Can Enclomiphene interact with my medicines or supplements?
Short answer
Enclomiphene needs a full medication review before you start it. Tell your prescribing physician about all prescriptions, over-the-counter medicines, vitamins, and supplements, especially testosterone or other hormone treatments. Interaction data are limited. Do not combine, stop, or change hormone treatments without a plan from your physician.
Give your prescribing physician and pharmacist a complete list of everything you take before starting Enclomiphene. Include prescriptions, over-the-counter medicines, vitamins, herbal products, and supplements sold for testosterone, fertility, or bodybuilding. Share the doses and how often you use them, not just the names.
Testosterone and other hormone treatments are especially important to discuss. Using them together may change hormone levels, complicate lab results, or work against your treatment plan. Your physician should decide whether any combination is appropriate. Do not stop an existing prescription or add a hormone product on your own.
Interaction data for Enclomiphene are limited. A product not appearing on an interaction list does not prove that it is safe to combine. Ask before starting any new medicine or supplement during treatment, and tell other clinicians that you take Enclomiphene.
Compounded medications are prepared by a licensed pharmacy for one patient and are not FDA-approved. Your pharmacist can also review the ingredients in your specific capsule if you have allergies or concerns about inactive ingredients.
