Women’s health · FAQ
Will my women’s health appointment be an online visit or a video visit?
Short answer
Women’s health care may start with an online visit or a video visit. Some states or medications require video. In either format, a licensed physician in your state reviews your information and decides whether treatment is appropriate. An online visit does not guarantee that video or in-person care will be unnecessary.
An online visit lets you provide health information for a physician to review without a live video conversation. A video visit includes a live discussion. The required format depends on state rules, the medication, and what information is needed to review your request.
Verra is available in all 50 states and DC, but some states or medications require a video visit. A licensed physician in your state decides whether women’s health treatment is appropriate. Neither visit type guarantees a prescription for birth control, PCOS care, or a UTI.
The online visit fee is $99, and the video visit fee is $149. The visit fee is non-refundable, but it is credited toward your first medication order within 30 days. Online visits are included for members.
Provide complete answers and accurate contact details. A telehealth visit cannot replace every physical exam or lab test. If the physician needs information that cannot be obtained remotely, they may recommend another care setting.
