Skin · FAQ
Will my custom skin prescription require a video visit or an online visit?
Short answer
Your skin visit may be online or by video. Some states or medications require a video visit, and the physician may need more information before making a decision. The online visit fee is $99, and the video visit fee is $149. A visit does not guarantee a prescription.
An online visit lets a physician review the health information you submit. A video visit adds a live conversation. Which format is needed depends on state rules, the medication, and the information required for your care. Some states or medications require a video visit even if you would prefer an online review.
For either format, have a list of your medicines, allergies, skin care products, and prior treatments ready. Follow any instructions about providing photos. A licensed physician in your state decides whether treatment is appropriate. Video does not replace every part of an in-person skin exam, so a referral may still be needed.
The online visit fee is $99, and the video visit fee is $149. The visit fee is non-refundable but credited toward your first medication order within 30 days. Online visits are included for members, and the member video visit fee is $49. Review the required visit format and displayed charge before completing the visit.
