What side effects can hair and lash treatments cause?
Short answer
Side effects depend on the ingredients and whether you apply the medicine or take it by mouth. Hair treatments may cause irritation, unwanted hair growth, dizziness, or other effects. Some hormone-targeting medicines may cause sexual side effects. Chest pain, fainting, trouble breathing, or severe swelling need urgent medical care.
Topical scalp treatments can cause itching, dryness, redness, or irritation. Minoxidil may also cause unwanted hair growth if it spreads beyond the intended area. Wash your hands after use and follow the label to reduce accidental contact with your face or eyes.
Oral minoxidil can cause unwanted body hair, dizziness, a fast heartbeat, and fluid buildup. Rare but serious heart-related problems can occur. Get urgent medical care for chest pain, fainting, trouble breathing, or severe swelling. Tell your physician about less urgent symptoms rather than changing your dose on your own.
Finasteride and dutasteride may cause sexual side effects. Topical use does not rule out effects elsewhere in the body. Risks from Hair Super Capsule depend on its ingredients and strengths.
Lash serum risks also depend on its ingredients. Some prescription lash ingredients can cause eye irritation, eyelid darkening, or changes around the eye. Certain ingredients may permanently darken the iris. Review your exact formula and safety instructions with your physician before use.
