What should I do if I miss my weekly Lipo-B12 dose?
Short answer
If you miss Lipo-B12, check your prescription label and ask your prescribing physician or pharmacist when to take the next dose. Do not double the dose or inject extra to catch up. The right timing depends on your prescribed schedule and how long it has been since your last injection.
A missed Lipo-B12 dose should be handled using your prescription instructions. If the label does not explain what to do, contact your prescribing physician or pharmacist. Tell them when you last injected, when the missed dose was due, and when your next dose is scheduled. They can tell you whether to take it later or skip it.
Do not double the dose, take extra medication, or place doses closer together without specific instructions. The typical weekly schedule on this page does not replace your personal plan. If you are unsure whether you already took a dose, do not inject again until you get advice.
A calendar or medication reminder can help you track future injections. Write down each dose after you take it, including the date and amount. If you miss doses often, discuss whether the schedule fits your needs. Also check the vial’s beyond-use date before restarting after a gap. Do not use expired medication or extend its use because doses were missed.
