Hormones · FAQ
Is Verra hormone care available in my state?
Short answer
Verra is available in all 50 states and Washington, DC. A licensed physician in your state decides whether hormone treatment is appropriate. Some states or medications require a video visit. Service availability does not mean that every hormone product or visit type is available for every patient.
Verra offers care in all 50 states and Washington, DC. A licensed physician in your state reviews your visit and decides whether treatment is appropriate. That decision also depends on the requested medication, your health needs, and the rules that apply to your care.
Some states or medications require a video visit. An online-only visit may not be an option for every hormone prescription. Testosterone is a controlled substance, so additional prescribing requirements may apply. Availability of the service does not guarantee a prescription for a particular product.
Provide accurate information about where you are physically located for your visit. If you are traveling or have moved, tell the care team before the visit or your next prescription request. A change in location can affect which physician can provide care and what steps are needed.
Check the treatment page or contact support for the current process in your state. If telehealth cannot meet your needs, the physician may recommend an in-person evaluation instead.
