How do refills work for testosterone and menopause hormones?
Short answer
Hormone refills depend on your prescription and the physician's ongoing approval. A payment plan does not guarantee future prescriptions. Ask your care team when to request a refill and what follow-up is required. Testosterone has additional prescribing rules, so its refill process may differ from menopause creams.
Refills follow the directions and limits on your prescription. Your physician may need updated health information or a follow-up visit before authorizing more medication. A monthly payment schedule or longer medication plan does not replace medical review and does not guarantee that treatment will continue.
Testosterone is a controlled substance and has additional rules for prescriptions and refills. Enclomiphene, Menopause cream, and Vaginal estriol cream may have different refill requirements. Check the instructions for your actual prescription rather than relying on the process for a different hormone product.
Ask your care team how early to request the next supply and whether any steps remain before it can be filled. Leave time for physician review, pharmacy processing, and shipping. Do not assume that a refill request means the medication has already been approved or sent.
If you are changing your address, traveling, or running low, contact support promptly. A licensed physician in your state decides whether continued treatment is appropriate. Medication is only charged after physician approval.
