How do refills work for prescription dental treatments?
Short answer
Dental refills depend on the prescription and the number of refills authorized. A payment plan does not by itself authorize more medication. Check your prescription label and order details, and contact Verra before you run out. A new review may be needed before another supply can be approved.
The prescription determines whether refills are available and how much medication can be dispensed. Check your label for refill information and review your plan terms. A monthly, 3-month, or 6-month payment plan is not a substitute for a valid prescription. Do not assume that choosing a plan means unlimited refills.
If you have no refills left, the prescription has expired, or your request needs further review, another visit may be required. A licensed dentist in your state decides whether an additional prescription is appropriate. Ask Verra what steps are needed for your specific product rather than waiting until the container is empty.
Allow time for review, pharmacy preparation, and shipping when requesting another supply. Refill timing may differ among rinses, gels, troches, and kit components. The current medication price is shown on the treatment page. Confirm any visit fee or plan charge before proceeding. If you do not want future orders, ask about cancellation separately; not requesting a refill may not cancel an active plan.
