Dental · FAQ
How are prescription dental rinses, gels, and kits shipped?
Short answer
Approved dental medications are shipped to the patient by the dispensing pharmacy. Shipping details and timing depend on the product and order. Expedited shipping is $20, but it does not skip prescription review or pharmacy preparation. Confirm your address and review the shipping options available for your specific order.
Dental medications are shipped after the prescription is approved and the dispensing pharmacy prepares the order. A compounded product may need preparation before it is ready to leave the pharmacy. Shipping time is separate from the time needed for a visit, prescription review, and pharmacy processing.
Review the shipping options and estimated timing for your specific order. Expedited shipping is $20. It does not guarantee immediate prescription approval or remove pharmacy preparation time. Do not assume that a kit and a prescription medication will have identical shipping details. Ask Verra about your order if timing is important or the available options are unclear.
Check that your delivery address is correct before the order moves forward. If you need to change it, contact Verra promptly; a change may not be possible once the package is being processed or shipped. When it arrives, review the label and storage instructions. Contact the pharmacy or Verra if the package is damaged, an item is missing, or you have concerns about its condition.
