Weight loss · FAQ
Can Personalized Semaglutide interact with my other medicines or supplements?
Short answer
Yes. Personalized Semaglutide can affect how some oral medicines are absorbed and can raise low blood sugar risk when used with insulin or certain diabetes drugs. Give your physician and pharmacist a complete medication and supplement list. Do not combine it with another semaglutide or GLP-1 treatment without guidance.
Your prescribing physician should review all prescription drugs, over-the-counter medicines, vitamins, and supplements before you start Personalized Semaglutide. Semaglutide slows stomach emptying, which may affect the absorption of medicines taken by mouth. Some medicines may need closer monitoring. Do not stop or change another medicine on your own.
Using semaglutide with insulin or a sulfonylurea can increase the risk of low blood sugar. Symptoms can include sweating, shaking, hunger, confusion, or dizziness. Ask your clinician whether you need blood sugar checks and a plan for treating a low reading. Avoid adding another semaglutide product, GLP-1 medicine, or weight loss drug without your physician's approval.
This formulation also contains pyridoxine, so report other vitamin B6 products and their doses. Tell your surgery or anesthesia team that you use semaglutide before any procedure involving anesthesia or deep sedation. Delayed stomach emptying can create a risk during these procedures. The team should give you specific instructions; do not choose a stopping schedule yourself.
