Can NAD+ improve energy, focus, or signs of aging?
Short answer
There is not enough strong clinical evidence to say NAD+ injections or nasal sprays reliably improve energy, focus, or signs of aging in healthy people. Results vary. NAD+ has important roles inside cells, but that does not establish a benefit from treatment. Persistent symptoms deserve a medical review.
NAD+ is important for normal cell function, but its role in the body is not proof that NAD+ treatment provides wellness benefits. Clinical evidence for injections and nasal sprays in healthy people is limited. There is no well-established timeline or guaranteed improvement in energy, focus, or signs of aging. Results vary.
Research on NAD+ biology, animal studies, and studies of substances that the body uses to make NAD+ do not automatically apply to injected or nasal NAD+. Different products and delivery methods need their own research. Personal stories and advertising also cannot establish safety or effectiveness.
If you feel tired, have trouble concentrating, or notice a change in your usual function, discuss it with a physician. Sleep problems, medication effects, and other health conditions may need attention. NAD+ should not replace an evaluation or an established treatment.
A licensed physician in your state decides whether treatment is appropriate. Before starting, discuss your goals, the limits of the evidence, possible risks, and how you will decide whether to continue.
