Hair · FAQ
Can my hair treatment visit be online, or will I need video?
Short answer
Hair treatment requests may be reviewed through an online or video visit. Some states or medications require video. A licensed physician in your state decides whether treatment is appropriate and may need more information before prescribing. An online request does not guarantee that the full review can happen without video.
An online visit lets you submit information for a physician to review without a live video conversation. A video visit involves speaking with a physician in real time. The available route depends on your state, the medication requested, and what is needed for the review.
Some states or medications require a video visit. A physician may also need clarification before deciding whether to prescribe. Completing an online form does not guarantee approval or mean that no further visit will be needed.
The online visit fee is $99, and the video visit fee is $149. The visit fee is non-refundable but is credited toward your first medication order within 30 days. Online visits are included for members; the member video visit fee is $49.
Follow the instructions shown for your hair treatment request. If a different visit type is needed, review the applicable fee before proceeding. A licensed physician in your state makes the prescribing decision, regardless of which visit format is used.
